How Often Should I Wash My Hair?
G’day you Aussie Babes!
Today we’re discussing that age-old question… How often should I wash my hair?
Well first things first… Let’s remember that you’re one in a million baby and you gotta do you. Each and every one of us is different and what works for our Bondi beach babe with those salty locks ain’t gunna cut it for you corporate kids kickin’ it in the CBD. Here’s a couple of tips from the little blue bear who cares for your hair…
Sebum… a blessing or a hair curse!?
Sebum is a natural oil produced by the sebaceous glands on your scalp, not enough Sebum can leave you with brittle, dry hair but too much and Grease is the word as far as we’re concerned.
Do away with once a day….
Washing your luscious locks too often with shampoo and conditioner can remove those all-important natural oils that prevents your hair from becoming dry and brittle.
Say ‘see ya!’ to all those soapy suds.
Try washing your hair with just water now and then, this should help to keep enough of those natural oils intact to promote healthy soft hair but get rid of any excess that might make your hair greasy.
Dry Shampoo we love you.
Although dry shampoo can’t replace regular washing it can help to lengthen the amount of time between washes. Dry shampoo helps to absorb excess sebum and dirt leaving your luscious locks looking so fresh and so clean.
